An IP Device (2 port Cisco Linksys PAP2 or any other compatible devide) is placed at the customer premises and a broadband internet connection is required. The IP device is pre-configured & is connected to the internet connection.

Also, a telephone instrument is connected to the IP device. Callers can now make calls by picking up the receiver of the telephone instrument.
